Maggam works are now the in-thing in the world of a fashion as they give an amazing look to any garment.This is one of the most popular type of embroidery also called as aari embroidery Maggam work can be done in saree’s, Lehnga’s , choli, halfsaree or on any dress material which you like. Maggam work can be done with threads, beads, special stones, jardosi’s. Maggam work artist says that it will take eight hours for completing simple maggam work and two to three days for complicated work. For putting maggam we need thread, frame, needle, and scissors. Artist will trace the design on the material which he wants to put then he will start the work.
